WHAT ARE THE PAYMENT OPTIONS?

At Coastal Bijou you can provide payment via Paypal or Bank Transfer.

WHAT IS YOUR RETURN POLICY?

Coastal Bijou provides free return shipping with qualifying orders. Orders placed online may be returned online.  Please reach out to Natascha at coastalbijou@gmail.com


RETURN FOR REFUND

Coastal Bijou must be contacted within 14 days of the date your shipment is received in order to process a refund. Please contact Natascha at Coastalbijou@gmail.com. Only unworn or unused regularly-priced items may be refunded.

All returns must be sent back to Coastal Bijou in the original packaging and condition within 14 days of the date your shipment is received. The return/refund process starts the day the items are returned to us. Please allow 5-7 business days for the return process to be completed. Refunds are returned to the form of payment the order was originally placed under (or store credit). The credit card company may take up to 10 business days for the credit to be seen on your account

HOW DO I CARE FOR MY COASTAL BIJOU JEWELLERY?

To keep your coastal gems clean, wipe with a soft cloth. Never use jewelry cleaner on Coastal Bijou jewellery. Store each of your pieces separately in their CB pouches or by hanging them. Protect the seal/plating of your jewelry by removing it while swimming, showering, exercising, washing hands, and before applying perfume, lotion, or hair products. Never expose your jewelry to water or harsh detergents. We pride ourselves on the quality of our product; however, if your jewelry should be exposed to any of the above products, tarnishing may occur. Tarnishing may also be caused by the skin’s natural pH levels.

WHAT MATERIALS DO YOU USE?

All of our jewellelry is hand crafted with the following high-quality materials: 18K Gold-Plated, Gold-Plated, Rose Gold-Plated, Silver-Plated, Sterling Silver, Gemstones, Oyster Shell, Clam Shell, Wood, Acylic Beads, Platinum-Plated Brass. Antique-Brass, Microfiber Suede. Our jewellery is nickel and lead-free.

DO YOU ONLY SELL YOUR JEWELLERY AND HOME ACCENTS ONLINE?

You can also find Coastal Bijou jewellery and home accents in several Thornbury shops, including Surroundings, Hawkes House and Beespoke.

CAN I GET A STATUS UPDATE ON MY ORDER?

Thank you for your coastal bijou order. It typically takes 3-5 business days to process an order and ship it out to you. Please contact Natascha for more detailed tracking information. You can contact her at coastalbijou@gmail.com

WILL YOU RESTOCK OUT- OF- STOCK' ITEMS?

If an item sell out, it's likely that a similar item will come back in stock, but no one piece will ever be exactly the same as I pride myself on creating unique pieces for each individual. The materials I use have a one-of-a-kind element that can not be recreated for mass supply.

WILL I RECEIVE THE TRACKING INFORMATION ONCE MY EXCHANGED ITEM IS ON THE WAY?

You should receive an e-mail notifying you when your order has been shipped. However, if you do not, please contact Natascha, and she will provide the tracking number for you. You can reach her at coastalbijou@gmail.com

RETURN FOR EXCHANGE

For exchanges, please contact Natascha within 14 days from receiving your Coastal Bijou package. Unworn or unused regularly-priced Items must be received back to us in the original packaging and condition. Please allow 5-7 business days after the package has been delivered back to CB to complete the exchange process. If there is a price difference between the item being returned compared to the requested exchange item, the customer will be responsible for the difference. If there is a credit due to the customer, that credit will be applied to the original form of payment back to the customer.

CAN I CANCEL MY ORDER AFTER IT HAS BEEN PLACED?

I will do all I can to assist with cancelling your order. Please reach out to Natascha at coastalbijou@gmail.com immediately after your order is placed if a cancellation is needed. If the order has gone through the system, a cancellation will not be possible. In those instances, a refund will be processed once I receive the package back within 14 days of the date the customer has received their shipment.

SHIPPING COSTS & INTERNATIONAL ORDERS

I will not be able to refund the shipping cost for international orders due to the payment being made directly to the shipment provider. For international orders, if your package is unclaimed and is returned back to me, I may refund the amount of the products; the shipping cost are not eligible for a refund. Coastal Bijou is not responsible for any additional shipping costs for returns and exchanges, and I do not assume responsibility for reimbursement or compensation of returned packages lost in transit without proof of delivery to Coastal Bijou.

MAXIMUM PURCHASE POLICY

I regret that I must limit my orders to no more than 5 units of any single item. If you have any questions or are interested in purchasing products in bulk, please reach out to Natascha at coastalbijou@gmail.com

HOW DOES YOUR JEWELLERY DIFFER FROM THOSE OF THE HIGH ST.STORES?

This is very simple. Many pieces on the market today, especially those in high street chains, use pre-manufactured templates that have been produced using a process called ‘casting’. This is where a ‘pattern or model’ is made originally and then reproduced identically 1000’s of times. The result is a cheaper item but one that many, many other people will own the exact copy. This will never happen with a bespoke piece. It is very easy to spot the difference between a casting and a handmade piece. My Oyster Shell pieces are 100 percent unique and no two shells are identical.
