At Coastal Bijou, I want to give my customers the most enjoyable shopping experience, one that will keep them coming back to my store time and time again. That’s why I believe that my store policies should be fair, clear and transparent. Below you’ll find a list of all my policies. SHIPPING AND DELIVERY
What You Need to Know
I value every purchase, and I do my best to honour all shipping requests to ensure you receive your items as quickly as possible. To guarantee that an item reaches you when expected, please read the shipping policy below for online orders. business shipping hours:Monday — Friday, 9 a.m. — 3 p.m. CST, excluding national holidays Royal Mail and expedited service items ordered after daily shipping hours will be processed the next business day. Items ordered on Friday after 3 p.m. CST, as well as items ordered Saturday and Sunday, will be processed the following Monday. Standard shipping can take up to 3-5 business days to process prior to ship. I primarily ship through Hermes. Please Note: I will not be able to refund the shipping cost as it is directly paid to our providers.
EXPEDITED SHIPPING POLICY
Items purchased with expedited shipping need to be placed before 3 p.m. CST in order to be processed and shipped out the same day. Orders placed after 3 p.m. CST will be processed and shipped the following business day.
ROYAL MAIL EXPEDITED SHIPPING POLICY
Royal Mail 2Day is a guaranteed 2 business day delivery service. Our Royal Mail expedited shipping option does not deliver on the weekends. Orders placed Thursday will be delivered on Monday. Orders placed Friday before 3pm will be delivered Tuesday. Orders placed Friday after 3 p.m. and on Saturday/Sunday will be delivered the following Wednesday.
INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING
If customs charges occur please note that you, the buyer, are 100% responsible for the fees. We, the seller, are not responsible for customs charges. Please note that international orders could take 6 - 8 weeks to arrive after they are shipped since all orders must pass through customs and the time frame that this takes is completely out of my hands.For international orders, if your package is unclaimed and returned back to me, I may refund the amount of the products, but the shipping cost will not be refunded. I do not provide a return shipping label within my packaging as return international shipments are the customer’s responsibility. Coastal Bijou is not responsible for any additional shipping costs for returns and exchanges, and I do not assume responsibility for reimbursement of compensation of returned packages lost in transit without proof of delivery to Coastal Bijou.
SALES TAX
Sales tax will be collected where applicable.
RETURNS AND REFUNDS
We’re sure that you’ll love your Coastal Bijou item, but on the rare occasion that it isn’t 100% right just send it back and we’ll be more than happy to give you a full refund or an exchange (This excludes items made or ordered specifically to your requirements, personalised items and coastal bijou Gift Cards.) Just make sure that the product is in its original packaging and accompanied by proof of purchase (receipt or despatch invoice) and return the unworn item to us within 14 days.
We offer free returns by post for all web orders within the United Kingdom and Northern Ireland.
To return your item by post from within the United Kingdom and Northern Ireland, please follow these easy steps:
Detach the pre-paid returns label from the bottom of the invoice/receipt and complete the returns information
Package your item up, ensuring the completed invoice is included in the parcel and the pre-paid returns label is displayed clearly on the outside of the parcel
Take the item to the Post Office and ask for proof of postage
Please allow 10 working days for your return to be processed. If you requested a refund, it will be applied to the original card used to place your order.
If you can’t find your returns label, please contact Natascha at coastalbijou@gmail.com who will be happy to send you a replacement label.
Special orders
Please note that we are unable to offer exchanges or refunds on bespoke items or special orders. This means that we cannot provide refunds or exchanges on items that have been specially made to order for you, items that have been altered or personalised in any way. Bespoke or specially ordered products may only be returned if the goods are faulty or were supplied incorrectly. This does not affect your statutory rights.
